Scriptable Studio Pro (the “Tool”) is a development utility designed to interface with Artificial Intelligence models to assist in the generation and refinement of Unity ScriptableObjects. MaharajaStudio (the “Developer”) provides the software framework and integration logic only. The Developer does not provide, host, or bundle any AI models.
2. Developer Responsibility (The Tool)
The Developer is responsible for the core functionality and maintenance of the Tool’s code.
- What we support: We will provide updates and bug fixes for errors originating within the Tool’s interface, ScriptableObject serialization logic, and integration framework.
- Bug Reporting: If the Tool fails to function as advertised due to a software defect in our code, please report it via maharajastudiocustomerservice@gmail.com or discord, and we will work to resolve it.
3. User Responsibility (The AI Service)
The AI feature is an optional "Bring Your Own Model" (BYOM) service. You are solely responsible for the setup and maintenance of your AI connection.
- Third-Party APIs: We are not responsible for issues related to your AI provider (e.g., OpenAI, Google) or your local AI setup (e.g., LM Studio, Ollama).
- API Keys & Billing: We cannot provide support for invalid API keys, expired credits, billing disputes, or service outages on the part of the AI provider.
- Connectivity: You are responsible for ensuring your hardware and internet connection meet the requirements of your chosen AI provider.
4. Quality of AI Output
The AI-generated content is the result of a third-party process outside the Developer's control.
- Accuracy: We do not guarantee that the AI will generate functional, logic-error-free, or "good" ScriptableObjects. The AI may "hallucinate" or produce code that does not compile.
- Manual Review Required: You are strictly required to review, validate, and test all ScriptableObjects generated by the AI before using them in a production environment. The Developer is not liable for project corruption or data loss resulting from AI-generated content.
5. No Endorsement
Integration with any specific AI service (cloud or local) does not constitute an endorsement. Your relationship with the AI provider is governed by their respective Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of data or API costs) arising from the use of third-party AI models through this Tool.
